Alexandra serves as Solutions Architect for Backbone helping customers get higher volume automation and advanced technical processing with innovation and R&D formulation. She has extensive experience as a research analyst and operational laboratory director specifically in the cannabis-hemp industry. She is a scientist with a strong background in analytical research, and has been actively involved in a wide range of operations for industrial hemp and cannabis-based companies, including extraction, extract refinement, new product development, logistics and regulatory compliance.
A natural leader with experience managing results-driven teams, Alexandra has spent time assisting individuals in psycho-education groups to support social, emotional and psychological wellness. Her passionate and holistic approach to health and success drives her interest in cannabis and natural medicine and inspires her to continually explore innovations in the world of hemp and health, as well as motivate individuals and organizations to achieve.
Alexandra holds a Masters degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2014 in Experimental Psychology and the Cognitive-Behavioral Neurosciences. In addition, she has published numerous papers in her research field of study of mindfulness meditation, memory, emotion processing, and psychological stress.
Outside of work you can find Alexandra practicing yoga and meditation, studying Buddhist teachings of compassion, mindfulness and happiness, and planning trips to India and Nepal.
