Inger Hogstrom

Head of Customer Success

As head of Customer Success for Backbone, Inger is the embodiment of putting the customer first. Drawing on her roles at Heighten where she focused on quality assurance and LinkedIn as quality engineer, Inger strives to maximize happy customers and reduce software bugs. She is a master at ensuring customer needs are listened to and getting them what they need, like training, new feature usage, outgoing communications, and creating all the help documentation. Inger is most proud of being the voice of the customer in internal conversations. She advocates for the customer in the prioritization of product features as well as performs front line QA. To accomplish all this, her multitasking skills are extraordinary. 

Inger holds a BFA in photography and film from the California College of the Arts. When not solving customer problems at scale, Inger can be found taking jaw-dropping photos in the most gorgeous and sometimes remote places on the planet. She was an outreach volunteer and senior dog foster for Muttville for almost 7 years and is currently a steering committee member for the Clipper Street Community Garden.
