Robin Aguilar Francis
Robin is Marketing Lead for cannabis software start-up Backbone. For more than a decade she has been privileged to influence customer buying patterns and behaviors, using data strategy and search patterns to convert online interest into sales.
Prior to Backbone, Robin served as senior-level digital marketer at Autodesk where she and her team brought hundreds-of-millions of interested eyeballs to the subscription software buying experience. Previous to that as an SEO strategist at AOL, she helped the online leader evolve from a pioneering ISP to an ad-driven content engine, cultivating SEO-based revenue opportunities. Earlier in her career she freelanced with brands like Savings.com, Modern Luxury Magazines, and The Robb Report to develop online ads and articles ranging from pop culture pieces to research-based editorials.
Robin holds Bachelor’s degrees in English and Psychology from UCLA and Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts from California School of Culinary arts (now Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts).
